because it pays several time better than the private sector(and i would not have to buy any tractors etc....1...annual salary of $174K (3X private sector)...2...FREE airport parking $22 a day av...3...FREE on site gym (even open during govt shutdown)...4...weaker insider trading restrictions AND kept PRIVATE from public scrutiny...5...up to 239 DAYS OFF a year(great vacation time)...6...part or Full health care subsidy ...7...better retirement average of $59K a year...8...congress flies FREE anywhere anytime...9...death benefits of minimum $175K ... 10...each one gets close to $3.3MILLION budget allowance annually....
