How many times has Dillon been shot in the shoulder ??? I watch about 15 episodes a week.....Seen him shot 1 or 2 times every week..

Near as I can figure, Marshal Dillon was shot 56 times, but I?ve heard the count could be higher.
My figure includes: eight shots in the left arm, six in the left shoulder, four in the left side, one in the left leg, five in the right arm, five in the right shoulder, six in the right side, three in the right chest, four in the right leg, three forehead grazes, five in the back and several creases. The poor marshal was also knocked unconscious 29 times, stabbed three times and poisoned once.

I remember as a 6 /7 year Kid old standing in front of the TV each week trying to out draw him in the opening scene ( cap guns were not much danger of taking out the TV ) he won most of the time If I did not cheat [}:)]

It was funny how Roy Rogers and Gene Autry would chase the bad guys on horseback and seem to always roll down that same hill when they jumped off of their horse onto the bad guy. [:D] 0 -
