So I had a brief conversation with a former forum member tonight!
It was nice to chat with him, I didn't ask him to come back yet but might!
Hes a hell of a good guy and funny as hell!
Any ideas on who it could be?

Most computer programmers leave a "backdoor" that can get into the program later.
Many Admin people set up a account under a new name before stepping away.
I even have an unknown access number to the alarm system, I installed and programmed in a company that I retired from 5 years ago.

My understanding was that unless Mr Christian dies or somehow became persona non gratis and was banished into permanent exile or quit / did a Mike drop and walked away never to return...
Unless hell froze over and the end of days / book of revelations apocalypse occurred that the former member in question had zero chance of being pardoned or receiving a reprieve from the governor

The Captain's account is active. He is not locked out. He logged on last month and he can post in the forum any time he feels like it.0 -

My memory is that he objected to an auction with what he believed were 'tainted' goods. He bid high and then became a non-paying bidder, which will surely get you locked out. He knew that going in and chose to sacrifice himself for no attainable reason. I liked him too, but understand why he is gone. 0 -

OK by me...i bought a pistol from someone here on GB years ago....it was a nice one in a no reserve auction...after winning thru the bid process seller decided he had sold it to cheap and relisted it using the very same pics...finally got my money back after about a month and my complaint on GB got him banninated...some people are less than honorable and it is good to have a site that has rules and follows them up with either a buyer or seller....my thanks 0 -
