    I think the gentleman should invest in a crap-ton of business cards, billboards, signs, magnetic signs for his vehicles, custom painted trailer, etc with his name on them.

    You will not let me put my name on a license plate? Fine - where else will you not let me put it?

    I think Sienfield (sp) (tv show ) had a show where Kramer got a plate by mistake it was to go to a Dr. it had "assman" and every one was giving him thumps up and yelling hay assman as he drove by

    I do not recall if the Dr. got his plates back by the end of the show

    Eastern Shore of Virginia is a village called Assawoman,

    No- really!

    Used to be 2 villages. One was Little Assawoman, the other Big Assawoman.

    I had a vanity plate on my Harley Softail that read "Ecstasy"
    For the feeling not the drug. When I went to renew it, it was denied on the basis of it being "obscene or objectionable", after talking to the head guy of State licensing in Tallahassee, they agreed to allow it (took months).

    The guy in Tallahassee said that the state uses a book of slang words and terms compiled by inmates in the state prison system, an interesting source I think.

    There is a business I have seen which is owned by a family with the last name of G ay. It is called G ay Brothers Plumbing and Heating and they advertise it prominently. The family has had their name a lot longer than the PC police have been on duty.

    Ohio reviews all names for any objectionable reason and rejects quit a few like one that seems like a race challenge ( car race ) like go 4 it
    my youngest son has one of his is "warlord" he has had it for a long time 1st on a truck then on his car after he dropped the name on the truck plate . I am sure he copied the movie title

    I have had mine for over 30 years.

    I always wonder, when they will decide it is offensive and I should not have it anymore?

    Back when I just started to drive {right after the model T},
    NYC stopped a vanity plate issued with the name of "NONE".

    After it was issued, EVERY parking ticket on every car WITHOUT a
    plate was sent to that one guy.

    There is a local insurance agency here with name of Crappo. They have tv ads where they try to pronounce it differently, no luck though[^]
