I don't know how you can define negotiating away your rights as help.. unless you're an anti-gun liberal trying to take them all away... You may not get to take away them all at one time, but as long as somebody's there to negotiate them away one right at a time, that's big help. It won't be long now before the NRA has negotiated them all away

I can just hear aan old liberal senator taking a newly elected senator under his wings and telling them yep, take all the freebies that NRA wants to give you and then when you sit down at the table they're open to negotiations. And what we don't get this time, next time we'll negotiate away from them, which means we get a bunch more free stuff.
