I noticed that several buyers on my feedback list are NO LONGER REGISTERED USERS. I got paid but I guess they forgot to pay some others and got booted, as they should be. There are a LOT of honest people out there that live up to their word and pay. The few that do not need banned to keep the integrity of the system up.

The thing that frustrates me are the sellers that let them pay the fees.....so these weenies dink around on the website wasting everyone's time. I am guessing he has never actually won and paid for anything with the two Fs he has.

Sorry to hear that he doesn't think your time is worth anything. I can kind of understand it if he offered you the relisting fees Plus compensation for your time in doing so... But only kind of

Hope to not lock it up, but I filed a NPB on a bidder last year. Never received any credits, never even a response, bidder was booted. I learned also.

The NPB process has several steps, it might seem like it is a bit overboard when you are going through it.....but the various steps do help to keep mistakes from happening (especially when you have as many transactions as we do.)

    You file the payment reminder.....

After a little time passes you can file the actual Non Paying Bidder report.....

You have to leave feedback and RELIST the auction before they will reimburse your fees.

One of my all time favorites was a guy who bid on two auctions with the identical make and model of gun simultaneously...

The rifle we were auctioning off was from a low numbers but hand finished high quality treaty of Versailles period versus one that was high number war time production done with several cost saving measures

He pursued and won both auctions - our rifle went for $1100.00 and the other went for $780.00

He wanted a nice example but did not care about variations and model changes - or production run numbers and time period

He explained that he had put Max bids on both guns of $2000.00 so he could be certain he won at least one of the auctions - he did not want to miss out on this type of rifle

So he naturally stated that he was rightly going to pay for the cheaper gun and send us a money order to cover our resisting the piece

He was quite proud of his "system" and saw nothing wrong with his tactics or behavior

It still makes me angry 18 years later

[}:)]A restocking fee of 20-25%, with a minimum of $10, should do it. GB gets it's fees. The seller gets paid for their work and the buyer who may have had an emergency can skate.[}:)] *****No feed back*****

Noooo...anyone that plays around and lets this guy keep wasting seller's time is NOT helping things. What is the item going to sell for the second time around??? What do the people think that bid on the gun and see it going back up without the previous winner getting a big F rating??? Letting this nonsense happens does way more harm than people realize. You will lose customers if they think you have a shill bidder and running things multiple times can cost you way more than any "restocking fee" you might charge. They need to be weeded out of the system so their insanity doesn't affect any other sales.
