Honda Pioneer 500
A local dealer has one from 2017, new. I like it and have approved credit at a low interest rate. Any input on Honda side by side products is appreciated.

Sorry I should have explained better, the Pioneer 500 is a side by side UTV not a car. 0 -
No experience with their side by sides, but have owned Honda ATV's and motorcycles for over 30 years. The quality and resale value is hard to beat. I have heard nothing but good things about the Pioneer line. They have "paddle shifting" which would take some getting used to for me. I say go for it if you are in the market for one. The Pioneer is supposedly one of the more narrow side by sides, so I would lean toward that if I was looking for one due to the fact that it will go where the wider side by sides will not go. 0 -
Generally speaking Honda makes great motorcycle, small engine, and off road products. However, I have no experience with the Pioneer. 0 -

I was a Honda outboard motor dealer for several years. Their customer service under warranty is exceptional. 0 -
I checked around a quite a bit. I found out my buddy has one and I test drove his. I am going to pull the trigger on it tomorrow morning. 0 -
My experience with Honda has been almost 100% positive since 1965. I've owned lots of Honda motorcycles over the years and they were all great.
Their lawnmowers SUCK!0 -
Just curious why do they call it a side by side? Why not just ATV or UTV? 0 -

When you sit next to each other or "side by side"......Typically UTV refers to a side by side.[;)]0 -

So did you get the Pioneer 500? Post up some pics and what you think of it if you don't mind. I may end up getting one in the near future[:D]0 -
I've got a 700 Pioneer deluxe. I really like it. About the only difference in the deluxe is the power steering - which I really wanted. It has plenty of power and is very quiet. I like the shaft drives, so no issues with belts. The only thing I have ever had issue with in 3 years is when I'm in the mud with others on 1000's with high lifts and big tires. When you get in their ruts after a few trips through the bog, it can get iffy on high center. In all, I'm very pleased..... 0
