Much as I'd like to see the governor dangle in the wind and then resign, I think he should stay in office IF it is shown he didn't lie in today's press conference and so long as nothing more current comes out. Granted, 1984 is a tad late to do the "I didn't know it was wrong" routine. But if the arc of this fellow's life is that of a good man and physician it seems to me rather harsh to forever remove him from elected office because of an isolated event some 35 years ago.
Alcee Hastings wass impeached, forgiven and stays in office. Mayor Barry steals, then famously smokes crack and is returned to office. Nothing wrong with a bit of redemption.0 -

George Allen's political career was sunk by less. I hope George is smiling right now. A list of whose-who Democrats has come out calling for Northram to resign, they can't get on that bad wagon fast enough.
Bill Bennett in a piece on Fox has predicted he will resign by the Super Bowl this evening. This is the perfect opportunity for Democrats to push him aside for exposing them on Abortion this pas week. Northram told the truth, and exposed the Dems for what they really want. (which many of us already knew, but Northram confirmed). It would not surprise me if it wasn't a Democrat that had that Yearbook tidbit and released it to sabotage Northram.
He's POS and I am enjoying seeing him be destroyed by the very machine that tried to destroy Judge Kavanaugh with manufactured information. Everytime a progressive suffers the same fate as their victims I get a kick out of it. I find it amusing that Joe Biden of all people is calling for him to resign, Joe Biden a guy that has stepped it in plenty of times with inappropriate, insensitive behavior.

I think that photo in the annual was a play on that. One buddy did the blackface, he was imitating the "coonman", it may have been Northam himself, or might have been a buddy imitating Northam, and the other guy was in a Klan outfit, and he was going to hang the blackface guy. What a laugh riot!
I grew up in the South during the times of the fifties, during the times of the Klan lynching black guys. Doing a spoof on that for the annual is not funny, it is really sick. I remember in 1962 the Klan set off a bomb in a Birmingham church, just 90 miles from where I lived, and killed 4 little 9 year old black girls in Sunday school all dressed up in their Sunday best. Almost makes me cry to think of that murder.

What's incredible (to me at least) is that he spoke, in great detail, openly and unashamedly about MURDERING newborn babies.
