Up 13 cents so far today, first of seen of local cash price above $8 since the tariff fallout started. Still have $1.25-$1.40 basis here so I expect that will drop off back to the 50-70cent range we are used to here. 0 -

Considering the US produced only 140 million tons of Soybeans in 2018, we will run out by the end of this month.
My guess is that it is an additional 5 million tons.0 -

Looks like it but when I viewed the article I cut and pasted the date and the article hadn't been updated. 5 Million tonnes were reported by several sources,, the 1 million was from September, 19 2018. Scroll down and a later story is available.0 -
So China bought a bunch of soybeans last year than put a tariffs on beans as their stocks dwindled. Time to buy more. The question is will the end result be more soybeans sold or was this posturing on both sides? 0 -
