My Friend Is A Gun Snob
He has about 3 pistols and 3 or 4 rifles. To him every gun he has is one of the best guns ever made.
We went to a gun store together and we both bought a S&W 357 same make and model. About 6 months later some how his exact model is now better than mine. LOL
I have at least 2 calibers of all hunting rifles in case of emergency. Except exotic calibers like 22-250 and things like that. I have some cheaper guns like Revelation, Montgomery Ward and some J C Higgins guns.
I also have Winchesters, Remington, Benelli, Ruger, Desert Eagles and others. I will buy a Taurus if the price is right. If its a 250 dollar gun and i can get it for 175 i will buy it.
I want equity in every gun i buy. If i buy a gun today and a week later something really bad happens and i have to sell a gun i would like to get more than i paid for it.
Luckley i never had to sell a gun for bills yet.
When i got cancer it was 401K or guns and knives and i kept the guns.
I have a Ruger 22 pistol that he says is junk but he wants to buy it. Im like if its junk why do you want it. He will say he wants something to just throw in the truck. LOL
Me i will try and buy anything that i can get cheaper than what it is worth. I want some meat on the bone. LOL
Last year i bought 2 Hi Standard pistols. The first one was the 22 magnum derringer. The other was a Hi Standard Military H-D 22. I bought them from a GB member and i paid the going price but they were 2 guns for some reason that i really wanted. The GB member still has 1 or 2 guns that i want but i have to save up to get them.[:(]

A .22-250 is a an exotic to caliber???
I didn't know I owned something exotic. I always figured it was a long-range coyote getter

I got rid of all my 22-250 stuff and went with and 22BR, more stable in pressures and very accurate. I have driven light bullets over 4,000FPS with book listed loads and no pressure signs. The 22-250 can be finicky when at the upper end of the load scale.0 -
