Turkey warned over Venezuela gold trade?

President Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning US nationals from engaging in gold trade with Venezuela. That could be extended to third parties such as Turkey; the authorities in Ankara have been warned that they are skating on thin ice, sources told the BBC.

    Turkey has not been a real supportive NATO member for years. With the guy they have in charge now it is even worse.

    Don't know nothing about Turkey or world politics for that matter. But wouldn't it have been cool if the Venezuela Pres tried to smuggle the gold out and it got shot down :)

    The Gold play is one that can still be a renegade in currency trade as long as they horde it in central banks. You can melt it and destroy all traces of it being passed off unless you tag it with metallurgy.
