Any idea who would be next in succession to fill the governor position if both the current gov. and the lt. gov. in your state were both forced out? Just curious.

Justin Fairfax, the lieutenant governor of Virginia, could become that state's governor if current governor Ralph Northam resigns under pressure related to a racist photograph in his yearbook.
Northam now says the picture in question is not of him, and therefore he does not plan to resign. But calls for his resignation are still coming from both Democrats and Republicans.
The possibility of his resignation brought many people to the question: "Who is Justin Fairfax?"
His online bio says Fairfax is 39, a married father of two and a former federal prosecutor.
He attended Duke on a scholarship, graduated with a public policy degree in 2000, then earned his juris doctorate from Columbia University.
He worked on Al Gore's presidential campaign, and when Fairfax ran for the lieutenant governor of Virginia in 2017, he got the endorsement of former president Barack Obama.0 -

Ricci, some interesting allegations against the Fairfax guy are coming out now, hence the question if they both ended up being dumped out of office. (Not likely I know, but I'm sure there's some line of succession in place.)

The allegation seems thin to me...she admits that she went to his hotel room, engaged in kissing, and got on the bed with him where they continued kissing....then he suddenly forced her to perform oral sex. No witnesses, nothing to substantiate her claim, 14 years later it's his word against hers. He says he was single at the time, and they engaged a consensual act, whose to say that's not the truth? I wonder if she confided in anyone immediately after or at any point other than a year ago when the allegation was made?0 -

Yeah ole Herring was worried about being outed so he outed himself for going Black face to a party in the 80s....seriously much to do about nothing...kids went "black face" all the time for Halloween when I was a kid up north.
