Cancer cure????
Glen Beck just had a radio interview with the head doctor
involved with the "cancer cure for all cancers".
Basically, the doctor published a paper about his THEORY for the cure.
He has done NO testing of his theory on humans. That is the litmus
test for ALL medical advancements.
And he said other doctors/researchers could find nothing wrong
with his theory.
My take on the whole thing is the same as the promised "flying cars"
I saw at a 1960's world's fair.
Medical advancements do come about faster nowadays, but this is
way too premature.

I heard that too. The guy sounded like he had a good theory. I think using cell created to target the cancer is a good idea.
Its like using a sniper rifle rather than a shotgun.0 -
yepper..something to TARGET CANCER CELLS and stop their reproduction... without killing half your body....i think some cancer make themselves
invisisble to immune system and then gorge on your blood nutrient supply speeding growth....runaway death machine...0 -
Cancer Cure.....Sure wish it was true!
To find the one cell in a human body that has gone rouge seems like trying to find a lost needle in a major city. I will always remain hopeful as I keep praying every day for a brother who is suffering with this curse as well as a few we all know here.
I have lost many close family members and good friends to cancer. It just sucks![V]0 -
Speculation until proven 0 -
just lost a 54 year old LPN friend to cancer....she fought it several years and i think she just wore out.....hard worker who gave her patients all she could...led a simple life in a small town...she deserved much better 0 -
I've known 2 or 3 people who had a one shot cure for cancer. Do you want details???? 0 -
Not just theory, some targeted cancer therapies are in use: specifically, Herceptin, to treat certain breast & stomach cancers.
Others are now in clinical trial.
I guess the researchers at the National Cancer Institute are as worthless as other federal employees. I don't know if they were essential or non-essential.

My brother has multiple myeloma, a blood cancer. One of the treatments used is a Carr T cell treatment. They take his stem cells and manipulate the DNA to attack the blood cancer and inject the new cells back into his body.
He has recently had a stem cell transplant that has put him in remission...the Carr T cell treatment is the ace in the hole...
As it stands this type of cancer is incurable...so far.....but can be managed some what.0
