Welcome the year of the Pig!
As you probably know, in the Chinese New Year tradition, each year is associated with one of twelve animals. 2019 will be the year of the Pig! The first day of the Lunar New Year will be on Tuesday, 5 February.

In many parts of Asia, the pig is a symbol of good luck. It is the most favored of all the symbols on the lunar calendar. To be born in that year is a good thing and parents plan accordingly.
Another good omen is when one dreams of a pig. That means good luck for the next day. They are known to gamble big on that day or the following day of the dream.
They also believe in a concept of selling good dreams, but that is another story.0 -
