    In many parts of Asia, the pig is a symbol of good luck. It is the most favored of all the symbols on the lunar calendar. To be born in that year is a good thing and parents plan accordingly.

    Another good omen is when one dreams of a pig. That means good luck for the next day. They are known to gamble big on that day or the following day of the dream.

    They also believe in a concept of selling good dreams, but that is another story.

    Strictly in the interest of fostering good will between our
    two countries, I believe we as good Americans should engage with the
    Chinese their celebration of the Pig.

    My local Walmart having party decorations of this for the past month made me aware who their masters are. If they have left overs I'll buy some for target practice.
