    I once found a 'Greatest hits of Procol Harum' for a buck in a bargain bin. You guessed it, Whiter Shade of Pale was the only thing I had ever heard.

    opps when I first clinked I had a different song come up but it may have moved on down the list on youtube due to me waiting on me to turn on the speakers and link [:I][:I][:I] letting the dogs out and slow reaction time

    I always liked their song 'Easy Rider'. I think there are videos of it on UTube but I haven't looked for a few years.
    Inna-gadda-davida was a disc jockey's favorite. They could start it and take a nap for a while.

    I had the 45 record of Deep Purple. One side had "My Woman From Tokyo" and the other "Smoke On The Water".

    I always thought that I had their greatest hits record with just that little 45![:D]

    Talk about a disc jocks dream song! Playing "Wipe Out" with the extended drum solo gave the jock time to go shopping![:)]

    Back in the day, I had a Pansonic Quad tape deck and an Iron Butterfly quad tape. When I was the only one home I would close all the doors and windows, plug in the tape, crank it up and stand in the middle of the room while the drum solo danced around my head.

    It was like the anthem for us cool dudes back then. [:D]

    I was heartbroken when the tape rollers got sticky and the tape unwound and jammed up the player.[:(]
