Mike
Yeah, me too.0 -
Sounds like they reinvented the 35 Remington into a straight wall case.
Oh boy one more step to reload them[V]
I think I will pass0 -
My take is a 35 remington for the AR 15 Platform. According to my friends this was the item there that was be hyped the most 0 -
I'm old enuff to remember the Big introduction of the .444 Marlin.
Was going to set the world on fire.
Fizzle..fizzle...fizzle..dud0 -

Or maybe a reinvention of the 351 Self Loading.0 -
Only thing I see good about it is the rim is the small AR-15 size.
will allow ar uppers sellers to offer another thing to sell.

I will keep my .357 maximum and it's ability to accept .357 magnum and .38 special and .38 long colt...
And I will keep my .35 Remington...
Mike0 -
Oh I almost forgot my .357 Atomic factory chambered single action army revolver...
That hot new cartridge was thought to be the Bee's knees back in the day - along side it's .401 herters power mag caliber cousin...
The above referenced and pictured .350 legend would draw my eye more if it incorporated a rebated rim.

An AR compatible 357 magnum. 0 -
I really thought the Etronx system had potential. 0 -
It won't be long until some wildcatter has that thing necked down to .224 and thinks he has a real screamer on his hands! The .22-350 Legend!! A star is born!!! Oh, wait...[:D] 0 -
Oh Crap, now I have to buy the next 'best thing since sliced bread.' Or not. 0 -

How about a 17-350 legend0 -
Or a 6.5-350 legend 0 -
Without a rim or a shoulder it must headspace on the case mouth.
I watched a video of it being used to kill deer. It looks like it did the job well. They were shooting it out of a Bolt Action rifle.
I guess the round has little recoil and they stated it was targeted at states that have straight wall cartridge restrictions.0 -
I?ll have to get rid of my Gyrojet now. 0 -
"I guess the round has little recoil "
The laws of physics can not be denied. A bigger diameter and lower pressure may change the "feel" but amount of recoil is unchanged.0 -
Got my first buck with a .35 Rem. Anything coming off that round is cool. 0 -
After looking at a picture of the Round I thought it looked kind of familiar.
I checked my Cart of the World 11th Edition and there is a similar round call the 338-223.
0 -
After checking it out closer I stick with the 6.5 Grendel 0 -

Don't think that "new" legend round has anything to do with the
great .35 Rem shell.
Has the smaller base rim like the .223 rem.
It's just a blown out .223 Rem casing.0 -

Yes, wildcatters have been doing similar for a while. .357 rimless AR or .357 rimless maximum are two of them.
this winchester factory brass is somewhat modified though, thicker brass at the bottom to hold higher pressures.
Apparently I'm the only one who's been wishing for a .357 caliber AR-style rifle for years now.
I am happy that a couple companies have finally caught on. CMMG showed the .350 legend in their "Resolute" line of rifles.0 -
A .357 Sig bottle necked bottle rocket pistol caliber carbine or SBR based on the AR platform utilizing glock mags would be interesting...
I think Sig and CZ offer pistol caliber carbines chambered for .357 Sig - possibly Beretta as well...
