I was told
I would be getting a big fancy wall and that I would be winning so much I would get tired of winning.
I was told that the man is so incredibly brilliant and playing four-dimensional chess and light years ahead of everybody else---and the defeats keep piling up.
There's an old maxim in the NFL: you are your record. Players and coaches and owners will talk about how the team is developing, how great young players are in the pipeline and just a year away, how a couple bad calls doomed them, how the field was wet and slippery and the receivers couldn't get open
and then somebody will point out that there's a very simple and very true way to discuss how a team is doing, and that is you are your record.
Right now, the record isn't looking that good.

If you believed the man is incredibly brilliant, you obviously didn't pay much attention. 0 -

If Trump?s election represented an actual rebellion, there at least would be a revolution in thinking, or theory.
But it?s not a rebellion, there?s no novel thinking behind it, its just a rehash of polling data and what passes for enlightened conservative hate mongering from the past 100 years.
Trump simply majors on negation, a middle finger to the establishment that he was part and parcel of five years ago. He?s a reality show for a country satisfied by spectacle. And so in that sense, Trumpism is exactly what you?d expect a ?revolution? in the age of mass media to look like.
When Trump speaks off teleprompter, it's mostly stream-of-consciousness gibberish. I used to think that it was a symptom of organic disease, and it still may be, if one gives any credence to his claim of being a genius. But so often, there's no real thought, no real intellectual process, no historical memory. It's a rhetorical sham, creating and repeating the mythology of his supporters, and I suspect that he knows it.
Folks claim they knew what they were getting, but I really doubt that. But I do figure they knew what they liked, and therein lies the problem.
Unfortunately the alternatives, aside from Ted Cruz, were not much different than the Hildabeast herself.0 -

He was an moderate anti gun NYC ?Republican? aka Democrat for years. And after being elected has shown his true colors with regards to the 2nd Amendment and the rest of the Constitution as well. He is not to be trusted when it comes to the 2nd Amendment(other stuff I can deal with his nonsense but not the 2nd). The 8 year assault on the 2nd Amendment that he said ended with Obama was a lie. Due process is a baffling concept to him. He is on video saying he would take the guns first and sort it out later. Drain the swamp? Hell he IS the swamp with thinking like that. One positive thing he has done is put two Judges in the Supreme Court. But he has a serious case of insert foot in mouth without thinking disease...like telling people Mexico would pay for the wall when he knows damn well they aren?t paying for spit. He just says that stuff to rile up his base. Two years totally wasted and with the Democrats running the House they?ll make sure nothing he wants will get done. 0 -

I don't watch either. I do listen to what people say they will do and then I wait a piece of time and see if they follow through and actually do it.
When Trump was running he promised to build a wall. When elected he had a Republican Congress. He didn't build a wall. When Trump was running he promised to overturn Obamacare. When elected he had a Republican Congress. He didn't overturn Obamacare.
Trump did give himself a massive tax cut. I don't really remember him running on that, though.0 -
Well I don't think Trump voted against building a wall and the fact that a bunch of Rhinos refused to vote for the agenda items that got him elected isn't necessarily his fault not entirely unlike Obama not getting full support from the dems either

And of course you are ignoring the above list of accomplishments because that does not fit your narrative. He has done everything he can without any help from either side of the isle but for you that's not enough. Bad Trump for not acting like Obama and ignoring the constitution. Obamacare, by the way is gutted. No more mandate. Something he could do without help! 0 -
I for one would never be a fair weather fan... In sports or politics
It's be a good thing the Patriots didn't give up a couple years ago when they had the Largest comeback in Super Bowl history. No team had overcome more than a 10-point deficit in Super Bowl history. The Patriots trailed this game 28-3 in the second quarter, then scored 31 points in the second half to win the game.
I watched the the whole game knowing that the Patriots were going to pull it off... The fair weather fans called it quits at halftime and went home... And as usual the fair weather fans missed one hell of a come back...
Only losers call a game when the game is only half over
It's a sad thing that you guys are fair weather fans, and are already calling the game when the second half just begun...[xx(][xx(]
There are several ways that Trump can win this game, and he has two years to do it... And none of which includes the approval of the house or Senate...
And as far as I know, no president has been able to accomplish everything they wanted to in one term...
It even took Obama two terms to tear our country down like he's did... And he's the chocolate Messiah...[xx(][xx(][xx(]
You fair weather fans better hold tight to your hat because there's a MEGA storm-a-brewing0 -

Is "Obamacare," still in play?
Uhh,....................No.
Is he working on getting the Wall done? (Yes.)0 -
He talks too much sometimes. I wish he was a better speaker. For trying to get things done I give him an A+. The alternative would have been a total disaster. Think about that before you criticize.
On another note, Ted Cruz was brilliant in his speech on the Senate floor yesterday.0 -

Cruz hit a grand slam with that speech in my opinion0 -
God almighty - what we really need is for more production coming out of Wisconsin. The whiners need a ton of cheese to overcome Barzilliaism.
Like bunch of chickens you want to find a sore spot so you can pick on it. The truth is the wall is going up. I don't like the fact that the dreamers will get a chance to stay, but Trump has been betrayed by Republicans as well as Democrats.

If that wasn't so pitiful, it would be laughable .
IMAHUSKER - Thanks for trying to put some reasoning behind the voting for Trump. Sorry to say for some, a 10 ton block of cheese landing on their head still wouldn't knock any sense into them.0
