Wrestling A Long Time Ago
We were in the day room watching tv and playing pool and this guy was really arrogant. He was bragging that no one had ever beat him in wrestling.
I had been fighting for my whole life and i enjoyed it. Sadly
Anyway i told him i would wrestle him. Well come to find out his wrestling and mine was not the same kind. Im from the country the only wrestling we had was on tv and the wrestlers that came every week to wrestle in the baseball field.
I got him down and in a choke hold with my legs around his waist. Everybody is laughing and i though they were laughing because i was winning.
The madder he got the harder i would squeeze. Finally i told him if he acted right i would let him go. I let him go and then he wanted to fight. I told him i was playing before but i will hurt you if you come at me again. He walked away and went to his room.
Come to find out he was into high school and college wrestling and i was into WWE wrestling. That was what everybody was laughing at and the fact that the braggart lost to a rookie.

When my Son was 7 or 8 he came home from school all excited that he could join the Jr Program for the local high School wrestling program.
I took him to the introduction meeting and we didn't last 5 minutes.
He wanted no part of any wrestling withOUT a ring and some tables and chairs to hit people with!!
He lived for WWF and WWE!!!

H.S wrestling is a whole different animal, them boys are slick and can make moves you never thought of and they can make a football player twice their size beg for mercy.....don't count them out, I've never seen one back down from anyone [;)]. Yes, it looks like a whimpy sport dressed in their skimpy tight suits but it's best to beware them at all cost [:)] 0 -
Where i grew up there was no track, soccor or anything like that we had football, baseball and basketball.
I was really good at everything but basketball.
I could have made the basketball team because of speed but i sucked.
Started every game in baseball and football though.0 -

We used to work out together on a regular basis. One of our favorite routines was, every single commercial on TV, we would drop and quickly do as many push ups as possible.
We were both in killer shape.
We were in a bar one time, and a big dumb doofus was running his mouth and wanted to fight. He handed his Olympic Greco Roman Wrestling medallion Necklace to the guys girlfriend, and said " Hold on to this, this won't take long." She went and whispered in his ear.
