I think this Russian roulette story is bogus

Just read this story, what do you guys think?

Married female off duty cop goes to an on duty officers apartment at 100a.m. for a game of Russian roulette is the story they are claiming??? Yeah right. Thinking love triangle or some other storyline and the one on duty cop killed her for some reason and the other is helping him cover it up.

    I agree, the story stinks. Those millenials are freaky deaky so ya never know. One thing is for sure, she ain't talking.

    I knew a detective growing up - he was a long term customer at the gun shop I spent my youth in - he was also a neighbor and lived only a few blocks away...

    Stand up guy and a former Air Force CID man - one of my scout masters when I was a kid...

    He later was heavily involved in investigating other on the job incidents involving LEO or affiliated persons (duty shootings - off duty discharges - complaints - drunk driving issues and domestic calls...

    When I was old enough to understand more about him and his job - having spoken to him quite a bit we had some quiet conversations about cops and suicide...

    He would visit the gun shop periodically and had me save a few vintage used but mostly complete gun cleaning kits obtained through estate sales.

    He kept them in a gym bag in the trunk of his car - to be seeded into the scene of a suicide by someone on the job - "accidently killed while cleaning his gun" was the euphemism he used - so the family could avoid pension and insurance issues - so Catholic burials were not an issue.

    It's a theme often displayed in popular media and books - but it was my first personal brush with the practice.

    The in-town news sources don't have any scenarios to report. That USA Today is probably conjecture.

    So far all that is released is she was off duty; the other two officers were on duty. BUT, they were out of their patrol district when the event happened. One of them is charged with negligent homicide.

    This is a bad deal for all concerned, prayers for her family and friends.

    I heard about this and from what I was told my first words were "there's a lot more to that story" and I hadn't even read about it yet.

    Yep - more to this story without doubt. Just the fact the officers were at the shooters apartment while on duty , with another female officer who was off duty and it was 1:00 am leaves a cloud of stink I can smell all the way here to Minnesota. Second officer should be charged as an accessory to murder 2 ? I hope they at least checked to see if they could find DNA in the wrong place. Might have been a threesome .

    IMHO. he wasn't much of a cop now was he? Just another criminal in different clothing.

    The odds are not good on the first pull. Get worse on the second pull and the third pull is just stupid. Someone?s lying

    You?re right the math just gets bad. After the 2nd trigger pull you have one bullet in 4 remaining positions. So you have a 25% chance of bad things happening on the third pull. It gets exponentially worse with the 3 remaining trigger pulls, 33%, 50%, and then 100%.

    And how do you even start that conversation? Let?s take turns pulling the trigger until someone gets shot. Well, if only 2 were playing, your chances are already at 50% that you are not walking out.

    I also think that the story seems as goofy as Congress.

    I heard this story on the news the other day. Very fishy story.

    Who knows if the truth will ever come out.
