One of my first cars when I was 16 was a 65 Mustang also, it had a 289 and a four speed manual transmission in it. If I had it built like that, I'm sure I would have never have seen 17 years[B)]

Between my 65 Mustang, a my "summer" vehicle, a 56 triumph that had 327 Corvette engine transmission and rear end with a stock front end... As I look back I'm surprised I made it to 17 years old...

BUT BY GOD I HAD A GREAT TIME!!!![:D][8D]

Impressive. Give it the burble and growl of a 427 tunnel port and it'd be super impressive.
