Looks like Chicago Politicians have introduced an AWB. They are banning everything about 10 Rd magazines, rifles and handguns and semiauto rifles.
In their benevolence, you can grandfather everything but must register them. Glicks, AR's, AK's, Beretta 9mm, everything must be registered, even 1911's.

Read that bill SB0107 It's completely insane. REGISTER the ones you keep, literally plus ANY shotgun that holds over 5 rounds, ect ect ect. California will look like a right wing state WHEN this goes through. I have already contacted the state level people,,,this state is doomed!!

The bill also states if you don't and caught it is a CLASS 3 FELONY, in essence then you can't EVER own another firearm.

I guess making a snowflake uncomfortable is grounds to deny firearm ownership in Illinois.

Instead of waiting for the communists to file the unconstitutional bills, the downstate legislators should have done a preemptive strike and filed bills to protect the constitutional rights of the states
U.S. citizens.
It is just as easy to tie up the court system with pro constitutional rights legislation and make the other side look like the real fools that they are.
It is hard to believe that one twentieth of the states land mass can control the larger of the two. Again the original intent of the Federal Constitution is being striped away from the many to support the few. Or is it the other way?
To get a "gathering of 2d amendment supporters" requires being outed as a deplorable, as the liberal media will spin it. Many will not wish to invest in time and face to instead let someone else do it for them. And then will not even join an organization that will help win the fight by the many. Instead of three million, have thirty million or 100 million stand up to join a group and there would not be ANY compromise of 2d amendment rights.
But that then would require to either execute or imprison animals for the duration of sentence that can not live by the laws. Then here comes the #### card. but same ones go out get in a truck / car that will run well over 100 mph and the speed limit is 70
I know a lot of great people and supporters on here and I am preaching to the quire . but I have worked with and know many and sure most all of you know countless gun owners content to just sit back and not join / donate / take time to protest .

Didn't a bunch of down state Illinois counties recently pass some kind of gun law amnesty ordinances. Essentially saying any new state gun laws would not be enforceable in those counties? 0 -

It looks like the 7th District Court is stacked with 4 Trump judges plus many Reagan to Bush Jr judges. I could see them overturning laws. That would put the 7th in contradiction to the 9th and it going to SCOTUS. 0 -
I just got through reading Bill SB 0107, it is not law yet. That is a Senate legislative board that has passed it, I believe it has to go to the house approval board next, so it can be brought up on the floor of the Illinois house to be voted on, then to the Senate for approval and a vote, and then the governor to sign it. But with are new governor I look for this one to pass. 0
