    All 3 digit serial number early production variants

    All 3 with pointer pup grips

    Prices have skyrocketed in the last 12 years

    Super high quality firearms - I never encountered a .22 rimfire model

    All of mine look like yours as far as finish and configuration

    Very cool!

    I was playing around with this one when I bought it and it sat on my desk for about a week because I thought I'd just tuck it in the safe and not sell it.....but then Larry saw a CZ52 that I ended up with and wanted to keep it because it was in fantastic shape and we have some ammo for it. So, he put that one in his safe and I took pictures of the Great Western. When Barry got his hands on it and was actually typing up the description he decided he wanted to shoot it, but he never got around to it. So far everyone that has touched this gun has wanted to keep it.

    One day I'm going to get to keep some of the ones that catch my eye. Right now I'm thinking about that chimney repair and chipmunk extermination costs.

    I've got one of the early .45 Colts, with 2nd gen Colt parts in it. Interesting history behind GW. Side note, Marshal Dillon uses one in "Gunsmoke", and John Wayne had Jim Marten in AZ make a couple up to look like his ivory grip Colts for "The Shootist".
    The one Kasey has listed is built on a full size SAA frame, and if I'm not mistaken, was made just before GW was bought up by Hawes. Hard to find anymore.
