Ithica 49R
I put one on layaway yesterday. The serial number is 500146384.
I can not put bullets in the gun and see if they cycle right because if a bullet was to fire and management looked at the camera my daughter would get in trouble.
I got the gun for 125 with no tax so i will not be hurt to bad if it does not work.
Any idea what year it was made?
I bought a Ithica 49 lever action gun from a member on the boards that was thinning his collection and i like it. I use that to teach the kids how to shoot.
After the Cricket they move to the Ithica. Different type of action so they learn more about handling guns this way. Instead of starting them on a Ruger 10/22 or Marlin 60.

Well for better or worse i bought it last week. I had to pay 125 plus tax.
I have been out of town watching my Mom and my sisters dogs while they were on vacation.
I loaded the gun with all the bullets it would hold a few minuets ago and it runs fine even though the insides are really grimey. So i guess it is a good one.
Now just clean it up good and put it up.0 -
even if it does not work you can double your money right here on the auction side,,easy triple if it does... 0
