A Goal This Year
Every year i try and come up with ways to better myself.
For a long time my goal was to work on my temper. I have got that in check and now i have a new goal i am working on.
A couple that my wife and i are friends with his wife told mine that i use profanity to much.
She says i like to use the f word.[:(]
So i am trying to stop all profanity. Its hard when you were in the military for 10 years.[:(][:(][:(]

I?ll tell you how I stopped using GD. An old retired preacher told me. Put a rubber band around your wrist. When you let one slip, pop the rubber band . I had a continuous red welp for about six months. [:D] I still let one slip, now and then. But He knows where my heart is. 0 -
I applaud your efforts.[:)] 0 -
A friend of mine is a retired nurse that used to work in a Catholic hospital. This ol' girl can swear like a drunken sailor! Used to be when something didn't go right her go-to phrase was to holler 'Jesus Christ on a crutch!'. Evidently that didn't go over so well in the Catholic hospital. One of the priests associated with the hospital had a 'come to Jesus' meeting with her one day and told her that her language was unacceptable. She's an outstanding nurse and they wanted her to stay around so he even helped her come up with a substitute phrase. To this day when things go sideways she'll holler 'Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!'. [:D]
Good luck, Dave!0
