    So a mares leg is less of a tax stamp or license issue and more affordable...

    BFR offered revolvers in .45-70 so I imagine one chambered in .30-30 wcf would be possible...

    Such a pistol would be less of a tax stamp or license issue and would offer near identical dimensions and performance...

    Savage once produced lever action - lever actuated revolvers...

    Seems like a lot of baggage and hassle for not much more return on fun or operative envelope.
