Henry gun ?

I bought my Dad a Henry 22lr many years ago and the receiver is black and has a lot of scratches on it.

Is it possible to replace that part is it a solid piece? I think someone mentioned that it has a cover over the receiver that could be replaced.

I have not looked at the gun in years.

Yes or no?
