    My bet would be that they're going to go to a state that grandfathered in standard capacity mags when they limited everyone to 10 or 7. The buyer will probably claim that they had them all along. Hope they get away with it!

    Conneticuit I think is the only state where the old mags are "importable" and pre-ban still counts.

    I have a single Gen1 Glock 17 mag ... but am in Florida.

    I know they have "pre ban" areas that can only have the older mags, but I've posted the old mags before and they didn't sell for a ton of money. The really old ones aren't steel lined and I think the notch on the back is a U shape instead of the square. The ones I sold went for around the same amount as any others have sold for. I don't remember if they were sent to a person that had any limitations.

    Massachusetts also..had a fella from MA tell me my Gen II G19 mags were worth well over $100 a piece up there....

    Sam, I only drove thru those places twice-once going north, then again coming back south-enroute to a 3 week HR school. Sounds crazy given the reason for my travel, BUT, if I ever got stopped with all the weapons, ammo and other ?interesting? related items my rig was loaded down with I?m not sure there?d have been any explaining given the political bent of those places.

    Look for the U shape instead of the square cut out on the back of the mag at the top......and the first gen mags were not metal lined.

    Those are late 1992-1994 magazines. They easy way to spot them as pre-ban is not the shape of the notch, it is the presence of two "dimples" on the back of the magazine near the bottom witness holes. Photo 9 makes them evident.

    Mark, what about that makes them "collectable and highly sought after" at that price level. Do guys collect mags, or is that the only mag that will work in that model? I can see original Nazi marked Luger mags being high priced, even Nambu mags, but Glock? (Even if according to Ricci it is the finest handgun in the world.)

    That's why I put quotes...17 and 15 rounds are standard capacity, not high capacity, another invention of the left...10 rds are restricted capacity.
