how to dehydrate ground beef
With instructions on how to rehydrate it...
Ken's homemade soup thread got me thinking about this. And I've used it quite a bit on the trail, there are ways to dehydrate cabbage also if you want to be able to make his homemade soup the way he makes it while on the trail. Or even if you're camping in a camper/trailer. It free's up refrigerator/cooler space for more important things like alcohol..[:D]
By the way, I think that the addition of cabbage would be delicious to his packaged Swanson soap[:D] soup mix.

Dehydrating Beef to getting the Belt. Come on people, stay on track!
When my Dad pulled his belt, his Gun, Handcuffs and Billy club hit the floor. That thing was 9 feet long, 3 inches wide and had spikes at the end!
With that said, I'm going to have to break out the Dehydrator and the Vacuum Sealer, and give it a try.0 -

I can't tell the difference between dehydrated ground beef and fresh ground beef after I rehydrate the dehydrated ground beef. Just keep in mind that you cannot dehydrated raw ground beef. You have to pre cook it first, so you won't be able to make hamburger patties from it. But you can freeze dry hamburger patties with the same effect...0
