One of the things I have noticed about dogs and cats is they will plop down in a gravel drive way, concrete floor black top surfaces and go to sleep. They can plop down anywhere at any time on a hard surface when a nice smooth lawn is two feet away. They just don't seem to care.

His sleeping on a plastic crate floor may sound uncomfortable to you but for a dog it is just another surface to plop on.

Thank you Bruce. I'd prefer not to have to do that to him though.

If he is going to chew/ingest portions of his fleece blankets, (a rather new behavior,) that is what we are going to have to do.

Thank you for your constructive input.

I had a dog that ate half of a bath towel.

$2200 and an emergency surgery later, we got it back.

    Don't take this lightly.
