Yep. Pulling the trigger will rotate the cylinder but won't lift the hammer. Another rare 14 is the full lug barrel

I remember when they were in the S&W brochure; made specially for the target shooters. I think they cost the same as the DA model. I doubt that they made very many.
I have a '68 model 14 and the double action on it is superior to my '78 Python, even though the S&W is only worth about 20% of the Colt.

S&W also made s.a.o. 'kits' for the k frame revolvers.
