Wicked edge knife sharpeners.
Anyone here have or use one? I saw a video on YouTube with one and seemed to do an excellent job. They are pretty friggin expensive but he was able to take a new knife blank without an edge on it( he pressed his thumb on where the edge would be and slid it down the blade with no injury) and put a better then razors edge on it in about a half hour.
I am decent at sharpening my knives. I can get them sharp enough to cut pretty well but not shaving sharp. Or if I use a steel I can make them shave but after a few sharpening I lose the tip of the blade. It gets rounded.
Might have to start saving a little to get one of these.

There's a knife sharpening place here in town where I live that sharpens a knife to razor sharpness for $2... I have no desire to spend the time it takes to sharpen a knife, when I can get it done for $2 0 -
Lots of videos on these. I use diamond stones for my work. I recently for the first time in my life paid to have a knife sharpened. It was a large vintage cleaver for one of my projects and there was a lot of metal to be removed The guy charged me $25.00 and did a great job. It would have taken me a long time to have done the work. 0 -
I have the Lansky diamond system. No stones to replace, and it works awesome. Worth a look before you spend 300 bucks. 0 -
No experience with this system I have tried bunches of different sharpeners over the years but keep coming back to a good set of stones and strops . Just takes a long time to learn how to do it 0 -
Nope, mine is Work Sharp. 0 -
SPYDERCO sharpening sticks I have had them for almost 40 years and they can make a surgical edge blade on a good knife easily. I bought the set for my 80 year old mom with arthritis and she can get one razor sharp in just minutes. 0 -
Bought the work sharp quickest way to get a nice edge 0 -
I can use stones but I have switched to a Ken onion work sharp with the guides removed. 0 -
Never used any gizmos to sharpen a knife or an axe, Just stones.
I do need guides for Chain saws and hand saws.0 -
