Got lucky tonight
No, not what you were thinking.
On my way home came around a corner and had two does standing on the side of the road.
Roads are snow covered so slamming on brakes would not have been good. Luckily they stayed on the side of the road and I was able to swerve around them.

I got lucky on the way to work, I avoided idiots that had plows on their pick-ups and didn't look before backing up.

On the way home tonight a whitetail doe decided to dart out from the ditch to my front left, and run alongside my pickup. Got close enough I think I could've reached out the window and grabbed it's tail. Nobody will ever convince me that the deer here aren't suicidal. 0
