  Back in the mid 1970's the wife and I both worked for Hertz Rent a Car. We use to shuttle cars around the Bay Area. We stopped at the main San Francisco rental garage to pickup or drop off cars. Standing at the return counter was Mr.Savalas. He was returning a Ford station wagon he had rented. My wife had me go up to him and get his autograph. Unlike a lot of celebrities we have met over the years, he was very nice and signed a piece of paper for me.
