Custom built match rifles of kind can bring huge money, it is all about who built it, what parts were used and how deep a potential buyers pockets are. In this case hard details on the build seem to be lacking.

Seems pricey to me for a used gun, if it had a target with a really small group and the load used then it might be a bargain.

I think it looks really nice, & Roland Beaver is well known for his quality builds. But, no one uses an M1 rifle for competition any more, most folks use M16-clones. 50 years ago, it was the cat's meow, but not today.

I suspect that the asking price will come down over time, until it eventually gets to the real market price, whatever that may be.
