Ever Seen an Earthworm Climb a Tree??
Until today I had never seen an earthworm climb a tree. I don't know if this is common earthworm behavior or if it is rare.
It has been raining for two days so the 18 inch diameter cedar tree bark was wet. The tree is back where I keep my rabbits. As I was feeding my rabbits I walked past this cedar and spotted some movement on the tree trunk. This two inch earthworm was inching/crawling up the trunk. Went into my garage and grabbed my tape measure. The worm was 52 inches from the ground and climbing!
Have you ever seen this??

I know they get very upset if ground is too soaked and come to surface but never saw one climb a tree. 0 -
