Don't you know that global warming is just a myth that he invented to line his pockets with?

    It is NOT "global warming"!

I think the current term is "climate change". (cuz, you know, the climate doesn't normally change) [;)]

36 and dropping and it is extremely windy here in East Texas right now. With the wind chill it probably feels like it is in the 20's.

Took Monday off, as it is forcasted to get around 4*, (Sun PM, Mon. Am.)

That is pipe freezing weather for me. I can not afford to deal with that.

Will be home, running periodic water, and firing up the woodstove.

Why don't you just turn on the water at a point where it's just barely above a drip? Pipes will never freeze with running water going through them.

Unless you want a day off

Well we have some global warming here in Baker City Or. and I am real glad we do. Normally it is about -10 here. Now it is about 33? to 40? F.
Year before last we had 4' of snow and almost caved in my shop roof. Now we have about 1". I couldn't be happier. I have seen it 39? below here in December.

If you?re on a private septic system, you might want to run it out on the ground.

I do that at night. I do not feel comfortable leaving water running however slight, while I am at work.

If a trap freezes up, etc. You (Me) are screwed. I've got Vacation time, why not take it.

Private Septic system, underground gravity fed spring to a 1200 gal. underground tank. Booster pump in basement. I do not like my pump running that much or frequently either.

Highs will be below zero here for the next couple of days, the back up to above 30.

Temps have been all over the place the last few years.
