where we continually create new medical terms to label any problem a legitimate medical condition so bad behaviour can be excused and people can recieve free money instead of being personally responsible...ODD...oppositional defiant disorder...little johnny you go clean your room...HELL NO, not going to, you cant make me, GD you, i hate you....so we go to a doctor and create a minor patient and are able to recieve social assistance or an adult created recieves a disability....instead of yanking their head around , swatting their butt and making them behave and able to join society

    It is caused by dysfunctional families. No Father figure and mother who is a hoe, men coming and going all the time in the home and they are not there to help raise a kid. Those same men abusing the kid or the mother abusing the kid because its making too much noise and disturbing her latest paramour.

    The importance of a smart phone in the kids life and if its taken away they go insane. Don't Laugh some kid called 911 on her father because he took "her" phone.

    The need for instant gratification no mater who or what is harmed.

    on and on

    this country is doomed.

    I told mom no once. Came home from school, room was clean. All the stuff went right in the burn barrel. Last time I said no.

    You say only in America, but most of Europe has gone that way. It is one of the reasons that Europe economy will collapse.

    There is another very dark side to this and that is the effect so called "Social Media" has on these young people. They live for it and it shapes their lives.

    You make one mistake on it and you are hounded and pounded by literally thousands of people and are made a laughingstock among your "peers".

    This stuff is dangerous and IMO its wrecking our society.


    BTW this and 2 other forums both about guns and shooting are my total social media outlet. I have no facebook, instagram or twitter stuff going on.

    Also I could care less what my "peers" think of me its water off a ducks back.

    Yes, I remember doing that once. I was walking in between my mother and Grandfather and said 'No" to mother.

    My Grandfather did not say a word. Before I knew it and with out missing a beat in walking my Grandfather back handed me and I was on the ground.

    I got the message.

    As Sam06 said and I agree the country is doomed.
