"Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed," Trump wrote Pelosi on Thursday. "We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over."

He suggested flying commercial but I suggest she just use her broom.

  I think the timing of the decision was inappropriate on Trump's part. He should have allowed the trip, then cancelled the return trip. poorly executed! [;)]

  I think he should have had the plane fueled with just enough to get about 500 miles out to sea and then at 450 miles all flight personnel should have parachuted to an awaiting rescue ship. An old prop plne would have been fine.
