A Tale of Two Squirrels ..
One squirrel, the friendly one, has white tufts behind its ears, which are fringed in brown. Over all it is mostly grey, with a 'normal' squirrel tail.
The other day it is driven off from the apple cores and occasional peanuts under my maple by a smaller chubbier squirrel. S2 has black tufts behind its ears, no brown fringe, and is generally grey. S2's tail APPEARS only half the length of S1.
The energy of the raiding unfriendly squirrel, with possible biting, was so frenetic a passing motorist paused to observe. Air pistols were invented for just such vermin as S2 ...
I looked it up but see no male/female data. Are both the same kind of squirrel?
BTW, I evidently have peanuts growing under my maple tree. But I've been informed it is illegal for me to sell my harvest.

Jimdeere, would you please explain what could possibly be wrong with frying up some commie demoncrats?? I think we need a 30 day open season with no bag limit on commies every year. I also think a bounty on politicians that do not represent the voters that elected them would be very reasonable!![:D] 0 -
