This is awful...

Doc
One of my dogs got through the fence this morning and attacked the neighbor dog. Only reason she didn't kill it was the owner came out and pulled her off his dog. Not a mark on mine. Must have been a pretty one sided fight. My dog in their yard so I'll be paying the $1,100 vet bill.

    I'm so sorry......dogs are unpredictable sometimes.

    Our Itty Bitty is an English Bulldog. She has this quirk that we cannot break her from. Any time a visitor comes into our house Bitty picks a fight with the St Bernard......EVERY time. Bitty wants everyone to know she is "in charge" and the only way she can get that point across is to go get her butt kicked in front of every stranger that comes into our house. It rarely leads to anything but there have been a few minor wounds.

    Knowing this happens I always put the St Bernard outside when people come over. It gives everyone the impression that the 140 pound dog is the mean one....when it couldn't be further from the truth.

    Sorry to hear this Doc. How is it that your fence was deficient? Have you fixed it yet? Add that to the cost too... ouch.

    sorry to hear . some dogs are great . then out of nowhere aggression shows up
    I do agree OUCH on the vet bill
