Kimber 8400 Sonora
Went to the range with my new Kimber Sonora today. 3" group with 154 gr. Hornady SST's. 2" with 154 gr. Hornady SP. 6" Outliar on every 4th round with the SST. Not exactly the accuracy I was expecting. My Senderos shoot 1" groups all day long. Any advice on improving the accuracy of this rifle? Ammo, Etc?

Is this ammo you have loaded, or is it factory ammo? Hornady factory ammo? Superformance ammo?
I'm not knocking the Hornady stuff, but I had a Tikka T3, in 300 Win Mag, that disliked the Hornady Superformance ammunition. It would group 3-4 inches at 100 yards. Those Tikka's have a reputation to shoot just about anything to within 1MOA.

Ammo is Hornady Custom 154 Gr. SST and SP. The SP groups better then the SST, but still averages 3". Shoot SST's through my VSSF .308 and they perform really well. 0 -
Your VSSF, and your Kimber 8400 are two completely differ individuals. One might, and will like things the other don't. You can not compare by what shoots good in one.

Switched to Federal Fusion 150gr. Spire Point. Shot a 5/8" 5 shot group at 100yds.[:)] 0
