do the sig/sauer 551a1 accept m-16/ar-15 mags? are they like all sig guns, reliable as hell?

  The Sig 551 A1 takes the Swiss 551 magazine.
  I have no doubt it is reliable.
  
  The Sig 556 takes AR magazines. I had one,
  it was very reliable.
  
  Both rifles are very similar, you can't go wrong
  with either.[:)]
