Trying to verify DOM for Spencer Carbine 1865, with #13205.

It would be best if you got hold of a copy of, "Flayderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms". The reason I advise this is that their is a number of different variations of the Model 1865 Spencer. You having it in hand, will help you answer your question.

According to Flayderman, the 1865 Spencer was only made in 1865-1866.
Is yours a Spencer Spencer or a Burnside contract Spencer?
