Date of Manufacture
OK you experts. I need to know the manufacture date of a Winchester Model 94. The serial nmuber is 49468XX. Thanks guys!

Have a Sears Mod 54 Lever 30-30 made by Winchester with ser.42516.Anyone know the DOM for this #?

Should be a coded date. It's located on left side of barrel just forward of the receiver. Look for lettering.
If you don't actually have access to the shotgun? Call Remington customer service, with the serial number.0 -

Personally I wouldn't buy a 50 year old 1100. Without first shooting it. To make sure it functioned OK, and was reliable. With both high and low brass ammo.0 -
Rife-snow......Agree with you about age. I had an old 1100 mag. that was not
reliable and sold it. Looking for a 12 mag auto to backup my o/u 3".Like the 400
Beretta but have convince myself to drop the cash. Any suggestions?0
