ammo for raging judge

Taurus has a machined shoulder/flange on the inside of the chamber to prevent a fool from doing something like that.

When I had a Judge years ago I tried to chamber a fired 460 S & W case in it. No way would it work for either the 454 Casull or the 460.

can you shoot the 460 mag out of the raging judge that also shoots the 454 ???

By design a .460 cartridge should not fit in that gun.

But if you somehow managed to get one to fit, no. . .you wouldn't want to pull the trigger.

Incidentally, I see little point to this gun. You'll get better accuracy and handling from a conventional .454 revolver, and if you choose to load it with "snakeshot", you'll have ample medicine for snakes.

    "BTW, what is "snakeshot"?"

    Howdy,

Snakeshot is simply a type of cartridge that is normaly used in handgun and/or rifle, but configured to shoot "shot", (small BB's, if you will), as the projectiles... same as a shotgun, instead of a single, solid bullet.

Use Google Image to see what they look like.

The word snakeshot comes from being useful, especially in a handgun, to shoot snakes, instead of lugging around a shotgun in rattler country.
