WWII Sword
Hello all. I am looking to sell a sword my father brought home after WWII. I was hoping to add some pics in the hopes someone can identify the signature and perhaps tell me what it may be worth but can't find that option if there is one. It looks just like a Teruhide sword I saw on another site but the signature doesn't seem to match. Is there a way to add pictures here? Thanks...Jim

DO NOT CLEAN, SAND, BRUSH, OR IN ANY WAY MOLEST THE PATINA ON THE SWORD. If it doesn't say Teruhide on it, then it isn't Teruhide. It's just a Shin-Gunto pattern. Thousands of smiths made them. Just take good close up pictures of the hilt, the blade edge, and the wrap fittings. 0 -
