winchester 1873 .32 wcf appraisal
I want to sell this old rifle but I'm not sure where to get it appraised . When an item is appraised to they give a written appraisal? Can any gun store do it or should I look for a special shop that deals with antiquitys? From what I gathered its made in 1883 but I really need to find an approximate value so I can sell it. Someone will like to have it and it literally sits in a case and I will never use it or hang it because I'm not a fan of that era weaponry. I have asked a few places buy they say yea if we have the books that go back that far so I'm nor sure what they can do if they don't have these books... any ideas suggestions. ?

I think that you are wise to avoid gun shops & antique dealers, as this is a specialized area & there are relatively few folks who really know what they are looking at, let alone the true market value. But, you are in luck, you have stumbled upon the right place for assistance; we have some members who know more than a little bit about old Winchesters.
You need to post several high quality photos, including close-ups of all markings. Here is the procedure:

Without good photos, we cannot help you.

You want the BEST money out of it,,SELL it here,,dollar start,,post a few pics here as neil said and there will be a couple guys state the plus and minus of the gun and go from there. Post a auction number on here and you will get a good start on it. 0
