Is Armalite still considered a top manufacturer of the AR platform?
They are higher priced than many of the other AR mfg. but are they still considered to be a prem mfg.? Plese do not tell me about custom

Yes and why wouldn't they be. They never had a bottom end AR like some manufacturers. As far as prices go on 308's they pretty much start at around $1000 regardless of manufacturer. You might have to dig a little harder to get a deal on one, but they are out there. 0
