American Arms Pk22 Auto
Hi, I have an American Arms PK22 Auto. I know it's pretty much the same pistol as the Erma Ep 452. I know the Mags are interchangeable as I own a few that are stamped Ep 452. And they work fine in my PK. My question is, Are other parts interchangeable as well? Specifically the Firing Pin, and the Extractor. That would be great as parts for the Erma are not to hard to find.

As I recall these were some "Name Badge Engineering" with the parts being made by Erma Werke and assembled in the USA (Arkansas, I think) so the parts should be interchangeable. You might check Numerich they have tech drawings of many firearms. 0 -
American Arms was in business during the 80's/90's time frame. Because of this they couldn't import the small Erma made autos directly. The frames and a certain number of other parts at the very least, had to made in the US to qualify them as being American made, to keep the feds happy. As the firing pin and extractor are part of the slide assembly, they might very well be metric dimensioned parts supplied by Erma in Germany? 0 -
Thanks for the input guys. I just purchased the schematic from Numrich, but it does not give specific measurements for the firing pin. I actually just found parts for my PK at Jack first. Price is a little steep. I could have new parts machined for about the same price. Minus the shipping and wait time. 0 -

You might go on-line and give Bob's Gun Shop a look. I know for a fact that they carry Erma parts as in the past I bought hard to find replacement parts for Erma's .22 Luger replica from Bob. Saved my bacon, if it wasn't for Bob having the parts both of the pistols would have still have been inoperable.0
