Help Identifying various Flip Up Ladder Sights

This number should of course tell me what this Marble fits, but I can not find anything with the '-S'.0 -

The Marble "Flexible Joint Rear Sight" is for a Savage 1899.
There was a early and late model, and the -S would be for the caliber applications, which I don't have for that suffix.
The two ladder sights look like Win 1892 or 94 Carbine sights, Bert H would have to confirm that.
The large military ladder sight looks like a Rem Rolling block military sight?
The smaller sight is a military carbine sight, 1891 Argentine Mauser?0 -

To be clear, I am not arguing with you. I have looked online and found a lot of information on the Marble 'S1', but once you add the '-S' to the part number, the information gets harder to find.
This is the 'S1' sight, from what I can tell.0 -
The second one from the left in the first picture is an enfield. 0 -
The curved one with the S may fit a Savage 1899. 0 -
Curved one that becomes part of the tang may very well be for the Remington automatic..model 81. check and see if there's a third hole hidden up underneath the thumb release lever for the corresponding screw on the remington receiver.

I'm inclined to go with TRAP55 and Brad Weber, in that the S1-1/2 was the application number for the Savage Model 99 in .25-35, .30-30, and .303, was the "Original model number of the "Flexible Joint Rear Sight" according to Stroebel. With the key word here being "Original" which gives one the impression that the flexible joint sight for the 99 in these calibers did have a later application number, which might have been S1-S. 0 -
What do you think is the purpose of the elevated portion.
Compared to the S1 I posted the pic of above, this sight would be elevated almost an inch. Does that part ride in front of the comb?0 -

Exactly! Then the sight was folded back over the comb.
givette, The Rem 8/81 used a curved up base like the Savage, but for a different reason, it was to fit behind the receiver hump.0 -

Your picture got me thinking, so I pulled out an old stock blank I use for scrap pieces.
Now I think I/we know how it fits. Confirmation of what is all that is needed. And in fact the Savage idea makes sense now. I even said something about the comb earlier, but couldn't quite picture it in my head.0
